Internal academic mobility is a form of organization of the educational process that provides for the study, internship, or scientific activity of higher education students and research and teaching staff of the Institute at another higher education institution of Ukraine or a scientific institution for a specified period without interrupting their main studies or work.
Internal academic mobility provides the opportunity to study individual academic disciplines, undergo practical training, or participate in research activities at partner higher education institutions. Learning outcomes and obtained European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) credits are recognized and credited at the Institute in accordance with the established procedure.
The main aspects of internal academic mobility are:
- modes of mobility: face-to-face, remote (online), or blended form
- mobility participants: higher education students (bachelor's, master's), PhD students, academic and teaching staff
- grounds for mobility: cooperation agreements between higher education institutions of Ukraine or individual invitations from the host party
- documentary support: an application addressed to the Director of the Institute, an individual curriculum, an academic transcript (Transcript of Records), and other documents in accordance with the requirements of the Institute.
Internal academic mobility contributes to the expansion of educational opportunities, the exchange of experience between higher education institutions of Ukraine, and the enhancement of the level of professional training of students and employees of the Institute without the need to travel abroad.
