Professional development courses
«CLIENT-CENTERED PSYCHOTHERAPY»

The program is focused on providing additional professional education to specialists in the field of psychological assistance. The course program includes 420 academic hours (14 ECTS credits):
– 192 (academic hours) 6.4 ECTS credits of personal client experience in the work of a training and therapy group
– 48 (academic hours) 1.6 ECTS credits of the certification work
– 180 (academic hours) 6 ECTS credits of theory on the following topics:

1. The history of origin and current state of client-centered therapy
2. Neuropsychological foundations of psychotherapeutic approaches
3. Basic concepts of Carl Rogers' theory
4. Carl Rogers' theory of personality. The fully functioning person
5. Therapeutic process. Phases and stages of the therapeutic process
6. Healthy and pathological development of the Self. Person-centered psychopathology
7. Eugene Gendlin and the Focusing method
8. Group therapy according to Carl Rogers
9. Client-centered aspects with the use of expressive methods (Natalie Rogers). The «Life Panorama» technique»
10. Client-centered approach to working with loss syndrome
11. Procedures and techniques of client-centered psychotherapy
12. Supervisions

The duration of the courses is 2.5 years
Admission requirements: age at least 21 years; education – higher specialized (psychologists), final-year students are allowed; successful interview
