The Institute's years of experience demonstrate that higher education students show a persistent interest in psychology beyond the educational process and strive to master it more deeply than is provided for by the curricula. To create conditions for the development of students' scientific interests, a student scientific club operates at the Institute.

The KISPP Scientific Club was created with the aim of deepening knowledge in specialized disciplines, developing skills in conducting research work, identifying and developing the creative potential of higher education students, as well as involving them in active scientific activity. The club is a creative association of higher education students and scientific and pedagogical staff who jointly research current problems in psychology.

The main tasks and areas of activity of the scientific club are:

• ensuring advanced mastery of the curriculum learning material and deepening knowledge in the disciplines being studied
• mastering the research methodology, development of scientific thinking, analytical abilities, broadening of horizons and raising the intellectual level of students
• development of research skills and the ability to apply theoretical knowledge in practical activities
• involving higher education students in scientific work according to the Institute's research areas
• development of the need for continuous professional self-development and improvement of professional knowledge
• creation of conditions for cooperation and exchange of experience between club members, scientific-pedagogical and practical workers

The main forms of work of the scientific club are:

• holding meetings of the student scientific club;
• participation in scientific and practical events (seminars, round tables, conferences, scientific competitions, etc.);
• preparation and publication of scientific papers, including in co-authorship with academic and teaching staff.
