We invite psychologists, psychotherapists, medical professionals, as well as graduating students of «Psychology», «Medical Psychology», and «Medicine» specialties to a deep study of the phenomenon of sexuality.
The course combines the biopsychosocial model, a psychoanalytical perspective, and modern clinical practice.
Format: online (under favorable conditions, additional off-site seminars are possible)

Duration: 2 years, 10 three-day seminars
Volume: 210 academic hours / 7 ECTS credits
Price: UAH 7,800 per 3-day seminar (first payment for 2 modules at once, then module by module)
Document: state-issued professional development certificate
The certificate is issued provided that the applicant holds a bachelor's or master's degree in higher psychological or medical education. Final-year students majoring in 053 «Psychology,» 222 «Medicine,» and 225 «Medical Psychology» receive the certificate after presenting their higher education institution graduation diploma.
COURSE SYLLABUS
1. Subject matter, history, and methodological approaches of sexology. Criteria and differentiation between «norm» and pathology in sexology and sexopathology.
2. The cycle of sexual interaction. Sexual dysjunctions and dysfunctions: classification and methods of psychocorrection.
3. Physical and prenatal aspects of sexuality development. Psychotherapeutic work with the body, aggression, sexual trauma, and the consequences of incest.
4. The Phenomenology of Sexual Fantasies. The Impact of Pornography and the Virtual Environment on Sexuality. A Psychoanalytic Analysis of Love Triangles in Couples.
5. Reenactment of early object relations disturbances in the sexual sphere. Addictive behavior and clinical presentation of sexual dysfunctions.
6. Psychodynamic approach to understanding perversions: perversive defense mechanisms and sadomasochistic alliances. Diagnosis of paraphilic disorders according to DSM-5 and ICD-11. The impact of psychopathology on mature partnership.
7. Psychology of mature love and sexual relationships: boundaries, temporal dimension, and phenomenology of intersex understanding.
8. Psychodynamics of love relationships: partner choice, unconscious conflicts, psychosomatic partnership, intimacy crisis, and separation trauma.
9. Sex, gender, and psychoanalysis: phallocentric, gynocentric, and feminist approaches. The issues of norm and marginality of gender identity.
10. Psychology of sexual object choice. Modern approaches to the study of homosexuality, bisexuality, and asexuality.
The groups are led by group analysts who hold European certification in the field of group psychoanalysis.

Graduates and students of KISPP / USPA, in particular students of the psychoanalytic theory course, can immediately contact the KISPP administration to conclude an agreement.
If you did not study at KISPP or USHA, admission requires an interview. Following a successful interview, you will be added to the lists of trainees for the subsequent conclusion of an agreement with KISPP.
