Department of Social Psychology is an important component of the Kyiv Institute of Modern Psychology and Psychotherapy, ensuring the training of highly qualified specialists in the fields of social, organizational, and applied psychology. The activities of the department are aimed at fostering in students a deep understanding of socio-psychological processes, the development of professional awareness, communicative competencies, and modern practical skills for working with groups and organizations. The department carries out active research, educational, and practical activities focused on the implementation of the activity approach in psychological and organizational counseling, socio-psychological practice, as well as the development of innovative gaming and training technologies.

Research activity departments is carried out within the priority areas of scientific research of KISPP and covers topical problems of modern social and organizational psychology.

– professional consciousness and the development of forms of thinking;
– gaming technologies of socio-psychological practice, simulation games, etc.;
– professional communication in socionomic professions.
